This was released on December 8. When you start up your MacBook Pro, it might make a bunch of noises. This update eliminates the noise made by the optical disk drive during system startup and wake from sleep on MacBook Pro computers.  When you finish installing, run the software update again and install SuperDrive Firmware Update 3. — which reminds me, I should download it now.

I decided to write a post about this because one of our readers was getting frustrated with the inability to “customize” Iphoto. It looks like that’s a common problem among Iphoto users. 2. FILE>New Playlist
3. Type name for new playlist in SOURCE area
