One thing I love about any application is that there will always be some developer out there that will expand its functionality by writing up a plug-in. Iphoto is no exception. There are a ton of great plug-ins but today I will share a handful. This is by no means the end of this as I will be posting more great plug-ins in the future.
First we will begin with Maciverse’s list of 5 Great Iphoto Plugins and Tools
Helpful if you do not have a yearly subscription to Mobile Me. It’s a way for you to share your pictures with friends and family.
Just like it says — it finds all the duplicate pictures in Iphoto and eliminates the clutter!
I’ll admit that I haven’t jumped on the flickr bandwagon. I have an account and I’ve uploaded a couple of pics but I’m more apt to upload my pics to Facebook or just keep them on Iphoto. I know, I know, I really should because Flickr is great for networking with other photo enthusiasts. What might make me change my mind and jump onto the bandwagon is this plug-in that explorts Iphoto pics along with description to Flickr! But I’m more likely to use the plug-in below

No longer do I have to sit there and manually drag pictures from Iphoto to the desktop, Facebook has a direct plug-in that will export the pics directly to Facebook! How about that?

This convenient plugin allows you to finish what you’re doing on other projects while your large photo files are being imported to Iphoto. It will alert you when things are done.
